Mike’s Story:
For all the wrong reasons…
Mike Ottiburns was known as
a prankster in school.
He didn’t mean to make
such a muck of things…
But Mike always seemed to leave a
trail of chaos behind him.
Mike was gleaming when he landed his first job washing cars,
but his sticky situations only continued.
When Mike graduated, his boss
promoted him to sales.
Things we’re starting to look up,
or so he thought…
No one wanted to buy cars from Mike.
He knew his product and his market.
He simply could not sell.
But Mike had an idea…
Mike knew he was
a good salesman.
He was determined
to prove it.
From an idea that came to him
while working out at the mall,
Mike began to turn
this idea into the
last and only prank
he ever meant to pull.
Mike took his concept and created his company.
He formed his brand and planned his strategy.
Now, all he had to do was execute…
But when Mike sat down to
work on his pitch,
he just couldn’t find
the words that he really wanted.
His emails, website and proposals just didn’t fit.
Mike wasted weeks of his time rewriting material.
He was ready to give up when
it occurred to him:
He could hire someone
to do it for him…
So Mike did some searching.
He came upon a word. “Copywriting.”
It was then that Mike found a name.

Mike submitted a contact form,
but he wasn’t sure what to ask for. North Compass responded with answers to the questions Mike didn’t know to ask. Unlike so many others, North Compass listened. Not only could they understand Mike’s vision… They could see it. North Compass helped Mike to write the pages of his own book.
